Spinning Tree - 2023

  • Designed, FDM and SLA 3d printed, and painted to look like a Christmas tree

  • When lever is rotated, the tree spins with it

  • 2:1 Gear ratio

  • Bevel gears designed to transmit vertical rotational motion to horizontal rotational motion

  • Ball bearing used for smooth rotation

Pop-up Present - 2022

  • Designed and FDM 3d-printed and painted to look like a present

  • When button is pressed, the lid of the present pops up, revealing a heart

  • Includes a gear system that transmits horizontal motion into vertical motion

  • Rubber bands used to force the present closed when the button is not pressed

Model of family boat - 2021

  • Miniature to scale model of family boat

  • FDM 3d-printed, painted, and added wires to further match the look of the actual boat

  • Personal photos, personal measurements, and online measurements used to create model

Ironman Helmet -2019

  • CAD model found online but modified by me

  • Added hinges to allow the face covering to be removed and pushed back while still being attached to the helmet

  • Removeable jaw piece attached by magnets to allow for easy wearability

  • Epoxy used for added strength

  • Spray painted to look more movie accurate
